This year, we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the extensometric monitoring at the Parohy site, in the Malá Fatra Mts. The gauge was installed in the scarp area of the deep-seated deformation to observe very slow displacements. We have confirmed vertical 0.07 mm/year trend. Moreover, the results show that TM71 as well as TM72 instruments are very appropriate for such monitoring in the harsh conditions.
