Network of permanent GNSS VESOG stations

VESOG is a network of permanent GNSS stations in the Czech Republic acquiring data for research and academic purposes. It is a research and experimental network for observations with GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). It contains 11 permanent GNSS stations in the Czech Republic, which are located at academic, research and military institutions. Among the uses for research purposes include a contribution to the determination of troposphere parameters in near real time for weather forecasts and a contribution to the creation of a map of tectonics in Europe from the processing of long-term time series of coordinates.
Each station of the VESOG network is operated by its owner. Four stations are operated directly by the Geodetic Observatory Pecný of the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography. The Operations Center of the VESOG Network is also operated at the Geodetic Observatory Pecný. Daily data in RINEX format with a recording interval of 30 seconds are available on the GNSS data portal of the CzechGeo/EPOS project. For data in a denser recording interval (1 second) or in the primary binary format (available only from some stations), contact the responsible person.
