Czech Regional Seismic Network CRSN) is the backbone of seismic observations in the territory of the Czech Republic. The network consists of 21 broadband seismic stations operated by six partner institutions. Data are transferred in real time to data centres in Prague and Brno, and from there to European and world data centres. CRSN is complemented by local networks: WEBNET (24 stations) –studies  earthquake swarms in West Bohemia/Vogtland, MONET (13 stations) – monitors seismically active region of Northern Moravia and Silesia, MKNET (11 stations) – deployed in the Little Capathians in cooperaton with Slovak Academy of Sciences. Seismic activity in interesting regions ouside the Czech Republic is monitored by local networks PSLNET (12 stations) in southern Greece  in cooperation with University of Patras as part of the Helenic seismic network, and REYKJANET (15 stations) – semipermanent network on Reykjanes peninsula in SW Iceland on the contact of the Euroasian and  North American tectonic plates.

The set of 80 mobile stations MOBNET is used in mostly passive seismic international experiments and projects aimed at the study of deep structure of tectonically important regions in Europe,  e.g. older projects RETREAT in Italy, LAPNET in Finland, European transect PASSEQ, current project AlpArray in the broader Alps region, BOHEMA and EgerRift in the Czech Republic. Seismic Software Centrer offers more than 100 open-source computer programs on seismic wave propagation with full hypertext documentation and demo data for the seismological community.
